40+ cities. 5,000+ people. One Big idea.
International Big Data Week is a weeklong series of independently hosted events organized as a platform to educate, inform and inspire a global community of data scientists, business executives, technologists, data visualizers and data businesses spanning major commercial, financial, social and technological sectors.
The festival connects a number of global cities through locally hosted meetups, events, panels, networking functions, demos, debates, discussions and hackathons.
Our team at Atlanta-based software company Emcien is pleased to bring Big Data Week back to Atlanta for the 2nd year in a row, and we’re working with the City of Atlanta and Metro Atlanta Chamber to make sure it’s even bigger and better in 2014.
How can you register? Each event is posted on our Meetup group: http://www.meetup.com/Atlantas-Big-Data-Week-2014/
Attendees are encouraged to sign up for each event that they are interested in attending.
We’ve confirmed over 50 speakers, including Big Data leaders from Delta, Home Depot, The Weather Company, CNN, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, SunTrust, NCR and many more.
