Cook County Government Presents: Creating a Data Driven Management Culture

Cook County’s Set Targets, Achieve Results (STAR) performance management program is based on the theory that leaders can improve government operations by using data to inform decision making.

Chief Performance Officer Andrew Schwarm will discuss how the Performance Management Office uses operational data and goal setting to inform decision makers as they work to improve the quality and efficiency of County service delivery. Through the performance management process, leaders are encouraged to use the data they collect to effectively manage their operations – and in doing so, institutionalizes the practice of regular management through data. Schwarm will share insight and practices learned through Cook County’s STAR program.

This event will be live-streamed free to the public. Click or copy/paste http://goo.gl/0K4Pk9 for free registration to watch this great presentation.
