See you this fall at #bdw15
Let’s make #bdw15 even bigger. Get involved!
…And yes, you did it! We are overwhelmed by your interest in this year’s event and we love the idea that we built up a powerful community of data lovers. Big Data Week’s editorial office is full of interesting cases, whitepapers and speaking proposals. We would like to give a chance to everyone who discloses passion and puts their heart into this.
After much deliberation we have decided to postpone the event scheduled in April for later this year, in the fall.
Due to the large interest, we’ve decided to choose a larger venue and bring more big data influencers on the event‘s stage.
These two reasons were crucial in our decision to defer the event until this fall.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by moving the event date; nonetheless, we ensure you that you will have a smashing experience this year too. We’ll post any updates on our Facebook page and on the website.
The Big Data Week team
The purpose of the 4th Big Data Week is to inspire more individuals and SMEs to start a data project and tap into the immense growth potential of big data. As such, this edition will feature two tracks – one oriented towards business decision makers, consultants and analysts, and one towards the more technical big data practitioners, such as developers, sysadmins, devops and data scientists:
• The business track will showcase real world success stories from five industries: retail, finance, publishing, gaming and science.
• The technology track will include best practices, how-tos, workshops and case studies from big data professionals that have hands-on experience in working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL databases, visualisation and integration software.
Papers can be submitted on the festival’s website.
